SPIRIT REALM

The LD team utilized the Spirit Vision mechanic along with Godfall's phase nodes create puzzles in the environment and to add verticality to combat encounters in Free Roam.

Ex. The player could enable Spirit Vision and warp to a Spirit Platform - creating an opening for the player to drop attack on a group of enemies.​
We added additional phase nodes into each Realm, specifically for the Free Roam game mode. We strived to maximize movement and create interesting ways to traverse the map quickly as the player chases objectives and souls.

Spirit Platforms and Phase nodes were used to create a network of travel points in each Realm.

NARRATIVE OVERHAUL

Worked directly with the Narrative team to revamp the base game Story, implementing new dialogue trigger and ambient characters.

Used UE4 visual scripting to spawn NPCs, trigger dialogue, and add narrative events to existing combat encounters.

Scripted friendly AI to move throughout the level, fighting and conversing with the player as the mission progresses.

Spawned main characters and triggered ambient dialogue in the Sanctum Player Hub, different dialogue lines would fire throughout the story based on the Player's progression flags.
