EARTH REALM

I owned the design and implementation of many key areas in the game, as well as assisted the other Level Designers in all levels game wide. Levels I worked on include:
- Earth Realm
- Crimson Glades
- Alluvial Plains
- Prismatic Falls
- Boss Arena: Grieves Sunsteel
- Boss Arena: Macros

4 phase boss fight with a focus on Environmental Constriction.
Starting at Phase 2 Grieves will set a quadrant of the arena ablaze and begin summoning minions, restricting movement and forcing the player to lure Grieves out of the fire to continue the fight.
Each phase another quadrant will be set ablaze and more minions will be summoned, until Phase 4 where most of the arena is burning, making navigation challenging.
This arena was kept free of blockers to keep the focus on the boss AI and Arena Shrinking design.

The setting for the climactic battle between Orin and Macros in Godfall's cinematic intro, "The Fall."
The arena sits at the top of the monolith, symbolizing Macros' ascent to godhood.Mano e mano combat, utilizing all skills the player learned throughout their journey.
No cover blockers were used to keep player focus on the duel between Orin and Macros.
